My entire career has been dedicated to the magic that occurs when you connect learners, content, and technology. As an EdTech veteran, I have been mostly focused on platforms, methodologies, and new ways to present and assess content.
But I have never seen a technology as transformative and powerful as generative AI.

Co-Founder & Chief Scientist
Alex is a world-renowned professor and researcher in artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, cyberinfrastructure, high-performance computing, network biology, tumor biology, agrigenomics, genome assembly, systems genetics, paleogenomics, and bioenergy feedstock genetics. As Chief Science Officer of Praxis AI, he runs the Praxis Open Discovery (POD) labs and drives product innovation, data-intensive computing research, and biohackathons.
Alex received a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from Auburn University in 1992, served two years in the Peace Corps in the Fiji Islands, and then completed advanced training in biomedical sciences at Vanderbilt and Emory. Currently, Feltus is Professor in Clemson University’s Dept. of Genetics & Biochemistry.
Feltus has published over one-hundred scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals, released open-source software, and taught undergrad and PhD students in bioinformatics, biochemistry, and genetics. Alex’s work has been cited over 10,000 times. He is funded by multiple NSF grants and is engaged in tethering together extremely smart people from diverse technical backgrounds to propel genomics research from the Excel-scale into the Exascale.

Hugo Lebegue is Praxis AI's CTO. He brings 25 years of experience running software engineering teams. He holds multiple patents in systems for Healthcare, Finance and Education. An early developer in AI, Hugo is passionate about the potential of the technology to be used in a responsible manner to improve lives and foster innovation. Hugo holds a BS and MA from CY Tech in Cergy, France.
VP of Customer
As VP of Customer, Brian is responsible for attracting great organizations to Praxis AI and delighting them thereafter. He has worked in executive positions at Oracle, KPMG Consulting and Toolwire among others and has a passion for Customer Success Management. A lifelong Bay Area resident and graduate of San Jose State University, Brian is excited to be at the forefront of the promise of AI.
President of Enterprise Solutions
As President of Enterprise Solutions at Praxis AI, Amir drives market adoption and scales AI solutions for Praxis AI customers. He also leads AI strategy research with senior leaders at Dasteel Consulting, Experience Alliance and Fidere.ai. Previously, Amir was Managing Director of Customer Success at Oracle, enhancing digital strategies for cloud investments. Before Oracle, he co-founded Mainstay Company, improving sales and customer success for top tech firms. Earlier, Amir was a founding member at Cisco’s Internet Business Solutions Group, developing strategies for top customers.
Amir is passionate about building high-performance teams and fostering innovation. He is a keynote speaker and author of bestselling books “Net Ready,” “Competing for Customers,” and the upcoming “AI Ready”(2024). Amir has taught at Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and Harvard Business School.
Chief Experience Officer
Former executive in sports, entertainment, and hospitality, Sharyn is renowned for creating extraordinary fan and VIP engagements at high-profile events like the Super Bowl, Olympics, NCAA Championships, Masters and more. With over 30 years of experience, her leadership in conceptualizing, developing, and executing profitable experiential programs has been instrumental in establishing and growing revenue streams for the NFL, Georgia Dome, and PrimeSport.
Five years ago, she co-founded fieldXperience, focusing on blending online learning with real-world initiatives. Sharyn's innovative approach extends to Praxis AI, enhancing edutainment journeys. Her passion for connecting cultures drives her commitment to offering transformative learning experiences that evoke a sense of inner child wonder.
